Abstract Interpretation of Lighted Walkway With DMC-G3

On a trip to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC yesterday, I decided to take some long exposures inside the lighted moving walkway.  This is a commonly-photographed feature at the gallery, because it's really just very cool.  Here are my impressions of it.

The first is a simple pan, of an already-moving patterns of lights.

Simple Panning Increases the Feeling of Motion

This second one is a little wilder.  It was accomplished by panning for a few seconds, then pointing the lens toward the lights above the walkway, and spinning the camera.

Longer Exposure Makes It Completely Abstract

Well, like them or not, they're original! :)
